The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) is pleased to announce that the WFDF 2017 Pan American Ultimate Club Championships (PAUCC 2017) will be staged in Cañuelas City, 40 kms outside of Buenos Aires, Argentina. PAUCC will be staged from 14th-19th November, 2017 at the Dirck Henry Kloosterman Recrational Center and will be run with the support of the PanAmerican Flying Disc Federation.  The Tournament Organizing Committee (TOC) Espiritu Sudaka is a non-profit sports organization which has hosted the popular annual “Espiritu Sudaka” Ultimate Tournament for the past 7 years.

“WFDF is very pleased to award this event to Argentina. This will be the first time that Argentina has hosted a WFDF event and we recognize the effort that Espiritu Sudaka has made in developing Ultimate in the region and supporting other Ultimate organizations,” stated WFDF President Robert “Nob” Rauch. “Following a very successful PAUCC event in Mexico in 2015, with some 900 players from 8 countries, we are excited to watch the sport in Latin America continue to grow.”

Event Director and head of the TOC Santiago Preckel commented that “Espiritu Sudaka is extremely excited to be hosting the WFDF 2017 Pan American Ultimate Club Championships in Argentina. Over the past years we have focused on regional development and integration, working with teams and national associations from countries such as Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and Bolivia. This is a great opportunity for the region to grow together, working with the help of countries from the entire continent.”
