WFDF is pleased to announce that the Congress has accepted the Asociación de Deportes con Disco Volador de la República Argentina (ADDVRA) as regular national member association of the World Flying Disc Federation.

“We are pleased to welcome Argentina as a full regular member of WFDF and view it as furthering the development of Flying Disc sports in South America,” commented WFDF President Robert “Nob” Rauch.

“Argentina has been a provisional member for several years and has worked hard to qualify as a full member, receiving unanimous support by the WFDF Congress.  We congratulate President Ian Mackern, International Relations Officer Martin Gottschalk, and Board member Santiago Preckel on this achievement. We are certain that Argentina will also be an active participant in the PanAmerican Flying Disc Federation, which was recently established to serve the region.”

“We are very excited to finally become full members of WFDF. This means a lot to us as we strongly believe it will boost our growth and development as a country and as a region. We are looking forward to working together with the rest of the International Community to make sure Disc Sports become much bigger in Latin America,” stated ADDVRA President Ian Mackern on the decision of the Congress.

WFDF’s membership now totals 60 member associations in 56 countries.
