The World Flying Disc Federation is pleased to announce that a Working Group on Indoor Ultimate events and rules will be established by the Board of Directors and it requests nominations from its member associations for participation in the group.

“After having been approached by several member associations to assist in coordinating Indoor Ultimate activity, WFDF is establishing a working group to help organize this discipline,”commented WFDF President Robert “Nob” Rauch.  “We are aware that Indoor Ultimate is growing, and our objective is to define a unified set of competition rules and event guidelines for Indoor Ultimate so that it can continue to grow with consistency across the globe.”

Indoor Ultimate is often played in cold weather countries during winter months and it features a smaller playing area, fewer players on each team, shorter stall count and a number of other variations from traditional Ultimate rules because of the limitations of indoor spaces. The Working Group will be composed of representatives from WFDF member countries where there are already Indoor events taking place. Nominations should be made by Member associations no later than 15 December 2013.
