WFDF 4-game Spirit of the Game scoresheet released
22 April 2013
The Spirit of the Game Ultimate Sub-Committee of the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) has published a 4-game Spirit of the Game scoresheet. The sheet reduces paper use by 75% and simplifies the work for teams and administrators by displaying four games on one sheet.
The new scoresheet can be found here. WFDF believes that an important part of maintaining and promoting good spirit of the game is by providing direct feedback, and we encourage the collection of spirit scores at the end of each game and the awarding of a spirit prize at the end of all Ultimate tournaments.
"One of our important goals is to create consistency in how Spirit of the Game is taught and evaluated around the world," stated SOTG Sub-Committee chair Patrick van der Valk. “Making the sheet easier to use by players and Tournament Directors is a small but significant step in driving further adoption.” “The new scoresheet is a small contribution by WFDF to the preservation of resources used in WFDF sanctioned events, as part of our sustainability program to reduce waste in following the sustainability guidelines set by the Olympic Movement,” added WFDF President Robert “Nob” Rauch.
For any question on the new scoresheet, please contact Patrick van der Valk at patrick(dot)vandervalk(at)wfdf.org.
