Where to Eat

The HUI will provide limited meal service during the tourney. To
keep things simple with our event size restrictions we'll not offer any
optional dinners but one luau dinner included in your player and guest
fee Friday August 9. Our HUI sponsored social events are:
- Saturday, August 3, 2002: Dinner Concessions will be available
at the Waikiki Shell.
- Wednesday, August 7, 2002. Pupus (Hawaiian for appetizers) will
be served at trade night on the Ilikai Hotel outside terrace.
- Friday, August 9, 2002: Luau at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park! Huge
Pool Party with Hawaiian style dinner.
- Saturday, August 10, 2002: Final party at the Ilikai Hotel Ballroom
with Pupus.
So you are thinking - Hey, that's not enough. Well, we decided to do it
up right a few nights rather than be mediocre every day all day. So here
are the answers to some commonly asked questions regarding food:
- Is breakfast provided at the bus or fields? We are working on setting
up something and one or both of these locations.
- What will be available at the fields (i.e. lunch)? The fields are
fairly remote so we are going to import a variety of vendors you can
buy lunch from.
- What is available around the hotels? Everything you could want. Waikiki
is packed with restaurants - American, Japanese, Mexican, Thai, French,
Hawaiian, cheap to expensive.
